Home Hymns Lord, open Thou my eyes

Lord, open Thou my eyes

“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened.”
Ephesians 1:18 (S.M.  Bod Alwyn)

Lord, open Thou my eyes,
Wonderful grace to see,
Where Jesus Christ is nailed and dies
There on a hill for me.

Lord, open Thou my mind,
More of Thy wealth to know;
Furnish my life with grace so kind
From Thine abundant flow.

Lord, open Thou my heart;
Graciously now enfold;
Stir up my love and never part
From this eternal hold.

Lord, open Thou my hand
To take Thy grace as mine,
That in that day in Christ I’ll stand
In righteousness divine.

Lord, Thou hast touched my soul,
Thy gentle hand I feel;
With healing that has made me whole,
Thy grace did o’er me steal.

Praise to Thy name, O Lord,
Wondrous, immortal Three!
Now I shall sing in sweet accord
Wonderful grace in me.
