Our Story
The Trust was formed in 2006 with the aim of recording and making available the archive of the ministry of Vernon Higham.
Our work commenced with the audit of the tapes and cassettes from Heath Church dating from 1972 to 2003. Since then, we have been able to rescue and digitally record over 4,000 sermons and bible studies. Volunteers finally completed the task in 2002.
The website was migrated in 2007 with the first recordings appearing a year later. Since then, progress has been made to make available the entire archive of recordings, both audio and visual from Vernon Higham’s ministries at Heath Church and Tabernacle Cardiff. The first YouTube playlists appeared in 2014.
The Trust promotes Vernon Higham’s writings in his books, tracts and hymns. In 2008 we republished his book ‘The Law of Love’ and in 2023 a short biography (‘Man with a Mission’) by John Peters.
We also have available some recordings of like-minded ministers. These include Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones, the Scottish ministers Hugh Ferrier and Donald MacDonald, and Roger Fingland Jack.
In 2015 the Trust became an independent mission of Tabernacle Cardiff. It has four trustees, Pastor Dewi Higham, Pastor Alun Higham, Anton Faulconbridge and Nick Lloyd.
Emphasis & Ethos
The ethos of the Trust is to promote the biblical truths expressed throughout Vernon Higham’s ministry.

The main archive features teaching sermons, gospel sermons and bible studies preached at Heath Church between 1971 and 2002.
