WVHIGHAMTRUST - the ministry of Vernon Higham

History & Formation

In 2005, Dewi and Alun Higham, the sons of Vernon Higham approached Mr Nick Lloyd to form a Trust to secure the archive of the ministry of Vernon Higham and to make recordings available on CD and other formats, including audio and video sermons online. The Trust was formed in 2006 and is led by four trustees.

The Trust has made significant progress in the auditing of the archive, the establishment of a Trust Office and transferring the recordings to digital format. This process includes the preparation of 'early' tape reels by heating at a constant temperature in an incubator, before transferring the data to digital format. Many sermons and series are already online and available in various formats.

Video Sermons and Publication of Books

Video sermons are also planned. The Trust plans to keep one full sermon on the website. The intention is to place a different sermon every month.

There are already a number of video clips online from the summer conferences at Pembroke. Video clips of sermons or Bible studies preached at Tabernacle Cardiff are also planned.

The Trust is also involved in publishing or re-publishing books by Vernon Higham.

Organisation of the Trust

The work of the Trust is divided into three departments - Research, Technical and Administrative. Anton Faulconbridge is overseeing the technical aspects of the Trust. Wendy Lloyd has responsibility for the research and administrative duties of the Trust. Lucia Hutter produces the Trust's financial accounts.

The Trust is voluntary in all its work and is indebted to many others who contribute to its activities. Over and above our efforts, we pray that the Lord will bless the work.

Trustees of WVHigham Trust

The WVHigham Trust has four trustees. Nick Lloyd is the director of the Trust.
The other three trustees are Anton Faulconbridge, Alun Higham and Dewi Higham.
